Wind power is a stable source of energy over the long term, despite intermittencies in the very short term.  ‘wind power is becoming increasingly important in our lives, as, it is an increasingly used renewable source, capable of generating energy in a clean and environmentally sustainable manner.

The energy produced by wind farms has many advantages including:

Reduced environmental impact: the energy produced does not involve the use of fossil fuels, resulting in lower carbon dioxide emissions;

Sustainability checks: before being installed, wind farms undergo what is known as an environmental impact assessment, which delves into the effects the wind farm could have on surrounding flora and fauna. 

Rather short installation time: in the case of domestic systems, installation is completed in a rather short time. In the case of wind farms, installation is often faster than for other power generation systems.
